The Psychopathology of the New Age
December 18th, 2008 by Michael Sharp
Ok so today, this morning in fact, over on my main site, some young male (I assume it was a young male) posted the following tidbit of spiritual wisdom in response to my article about the compassionless absurdity of a lot of spiritual/religious beliefs. You know the ones I’m talking about. It’s those belief systems that see rapture and Armageddon, death, destruction and suffering as some kind acceptable judgmental outcome of natural or divine processes. These are the ideologies that casually speak of the shedding of innocent blood as something that is sanctioned by God and/or Gaia. According to these ideological positions, there’s a “reckoning coming” and lots of people are going to die, don’t ya know. Of course, in my article I take serious issue with that calling it for what it is, compassionless absurdity.
Now have a look at “Cory’s” comment about my article.
